The goal of this project is to design a portable electrocardiogram that has the ability to transmit live heart rhythm data to an android device. Then, the signal can be processed to detect irregularities such as atrial fibrillation.
The idea is that if it were mass-produced, it would be low cost and available to remote regions of the world where healthcare technology is lacking but smart phone devices are common.
This team will be divided into two groups: Hardware and software focused. It is still one team, but it should prevent delay in project progress.
